Employment Opportunities Loan Origination NorthPoint Capital is actively seeking energetic professionals to originate commercial loans at both our Chicago and Detroit offices. Responsibilities Loan Officers call on and develop relationships with property owners in the midwest, learn their financing requirements, and present the owners with financing options from our lending sources. Strong sales and communication skills are the primary requirements for success. A good understanding of commercial loan underwriting is helpful, but underwriting experience is not a requirement for consideration. You will become a proficient underwriter working with us. Proven sales success, people skills, networking capability and a drive to succeed are the ingredients that will lead to good results in our business. Compensation Our compensation structure is a combination of a base salary plus commission. The exact structure is determined based on the originator's experience, needs, and income potential goals. The commission payout structure is most aggressive for loan officers who elect an "all commission" compensation plan. Health insurance and 401(k) benefits are provided.
